Syracuse, N.Y. – Mayor Ben Walsh and Meg O’Connell, Executive Director of the Allyn Family Foundation, are pleased to announce that Stephanie Pasquale, Commissioner of the City’s Department of Neighborhood and Business Development (NBD), will take a newly-created position with the Allyn Family Foundation as Director of Neighborhood Advancement focused on delivering place-based housing and neighborhood redevelopment strategies.
In her new role with the Allyn Family Foundation, Pasquale will serve as a liaison between the City of Syracuse, the Syracuse Housing Authority, and community partners throughout the development of larger-scale, mixed income and affordable housing projects, including Blueprint 15, ensuring all plans and projects fit within established community priorities and comprehensive plans to support thriving neighborhoods.
