The mission of the Allyn Foundation is to improve the quality of life in Central New York.

 

 

 

Enable an environment of collaborative philanthropy with grants and investments through charitable organizations that build responsibility and vibrancy into the community reflecting the compassion of our founders. In service of this vision, the Foundation focuses its grant making in the following areas:

HEALTH FACILITIES AND SERVICES

Promote the delivery of quality health care in our communities.

HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS IN ONONDAGA AND CAYUGA COUNTIES

Expand access and success in education beyond high school, particularly for students of low income or other underrepresented backgrounds.

BASIC HUMAN SERVICES

Work to ensure that all people have basic daily needs of food, clothing, and shelter and enable the means to provide for themselves.

FAMILY PLANNING MEDICAL AND EDUCATIONAL SERVICES

Promote education in family planning and improved access to service.

QUALITY OF LIFE FOR YOUTH

Improve quality of life for children and families through organizations that are focused on at risk youth and families.
