Listed below is the process that the Allyn Foundation uses in making grants. Follow the steps below to determine your organization’s eligibility and submit a grant request.
ARE YOU ELIGIBLE TO APPLY?

- Grants are not made
- to endowment funds
- to individuals
- for loan purposes
- to religious groups
- to political groups
- as sponsorships for fund-raising events
- An organization may apply for only one grant in a 12-month period.
SUBMIT A GRANT APPLICATION
Applications are reviewed four times during the year. Completed applications should be submitted by the following dates:
- March 1, 2008
- June 1, 2008
- September 1, 2008
- December 1, 2008
The foundation will consider long-term pledges for capital improvement projects.
The Board of Directors does not allow presentations during their scheduled meetings.
Please use the attached grant application when applying for funds. In an effort to conserve paper, please send only the grant application and the requested additional information. Annual reports and brochures may be included with your application. Do not send lengthy customized proposals.
If you are computer-generating your application, you do not have to print onto the application form. You may generate your own application form but please include all of the same wording and format as the grant application.
